I’m excited to attend the Translation Strategies Conference 2011 at Novgorod State University in Velikiy Novgorod, Russia. The conference runs from Friday October 21, until Sunday October 23, 2011.
The conference is organised by Novgorod branch of the Translators’ Union of Russia, Novgorod State University, and Textowik translation agency.
My exact contribution isn’t finalised yet, but it is likely I’ll run some short Selling Translations® seminars for Freelancers and Students, about translation sales/marketing and technology.
I’ve wanted to visit (Velikiy) Novgorod for some time, and this year I have the pleasure of visiting it twice. Once with the Translation Forum Russia Moscow Car Rally (Автопробег из Москвы в Санкт-Петербург) and now with the Translation Strategies Conference.
For more information please contact Ilya Mishchenko, chairman of the Novgorod regional branch of the Union of Translators of Russia, at iam[@]translationstrategies.com. There is also a LinkedIn event page and a Facebook group.
