I attended this great event last year in Ekatinerburg. When I took the opportunity to visit Samara, Tomsk, Novosibirsk (very briefly) and spend the day in Moscow. And I finally ticked-off my Trans-Siberia (and Trans-Ural) railway bucket-list item(s).
Translation Forum Russia 2011 (TFR 2011) is organised by jointly by All Correct Language Solutions, ProVerbum training centre for translators and interpreters, and Business Bureau of the Association of Interpreters. TFR 2011 runs from the 23rd until 25th September at the Pribaltiyskaya Park Inn hotel in St. Petersburg, Russia. TFR is the largest translation business conference in Russia and the CIS. Five session tracks allow coverage of a broad range of topics using interactive sessions – panel discussions, round tables and workshops. Simultaneous interpreting for all non-Russian speakers is provided.
I’ll give the last of 4 keynotes presentations on behalf of Common Sense Advisory about the Russian speaking translation market.
I’m also running a Selling Translations® workshop for Translation companies on Monday 26th and one for Freelancers on Tuesday 27th of September with ProVerbum (a Saint Petersburg based specialist supplier of training to translation industry).
If you’d like to attend either of the workshops please contact ProVerbum.
I’ll also be taking part in the pre-conference Car Rally from Moscow to Saint Petersburg via Tver and Novgorod email Ekaterina Sharalapova (sharalapova[at]ex-primo.com) of Exprimo for more details.
There is also a Facebook page for the TFR.
