In 2010 I took part in Doug Lawrence’s “Sales Strategy Management” workshop held in Budapest. The effect of the two-day seminar was almost immediate. We significantly improved the quality of our in-house training which was made more interactive and practical through the use of workshop materials. I like the way Doug gives his presentations. He is a very dynamic speaker delivering his messages in a manner that motivates for immediate action. He tries to engage the participants, exploring their own personal needs and topics. I first attended one of Doug Lawrence’s Selling Translations® training sessions during an ELIA ND event in Istanbul. Although it was just 1-day, it was enough for me to realise it was exactly what I had been looking for. I already knew a lot about the subject, but the properly structured materials, engaging presentation and real translation industry examples helped me successfully apply my existing knowledge and skills. After the workshop we decided to organize a 3-day in-house training workshop for our company management with Doug – and as far as we see from their feedback all of them found something practical that they can use in their everyday work.
