The weather held out for another excellent ITI summer group walk. This time held jointly with the East and West Midlands ITI regional groups at Calke Abbey on Saturday 21 July 2012. You can see the rest of the pictures or a slide show on my Flickr account.
Calke Abbey is a National Trust property near Ashby-de-la-Zouch. It is at the heart of its own large estate, on the Derbyshire/Leicestershire border.
Thanks to Mike Hanson and the EMG for organising the event. This events are always a great opportunity to catch-up with peers and talk about translation and sometimes other stuff too!
I learnt that ‘gillet’ which in UK English is an ‘armless’ coat, is a cardigan in French!

Captain Mike rallys the crack ITI troops at the start of the walk.
